We are looking to hire aContract & Pricing Administration Specialist! This position is responsible for carrying out all post-contract administrative functions, as well as all general price/price-related system maintenance for all customers and customer groups. Contract & Pricing Administration Specialist

Responsibilities

Your specific duties for this role will include:

  • Process and maintain customer Instrument, Service, Software, and Reagent contracts, which includes, but is not limited to: pricing updates, billing implementations, document retention uploads, & end-to-end activities that occur during the contract lifecycle.

  • Maintain all customer pricing in applicable systems for customers and GPO's (general price management).

  • Create Instrument Service Contract renewal documents: review reports for upcoming expirations & create renewal contracts (using approved templates) for dissemination.

  • Research and respond to inquiries (typically via email); communicating with customers, sales, legal, marketing, field service, accounts receivable and customer service departments.

  • Maintain customer master and pricing files in the ERP and other systems as assigned, which includes, but is not limited to: pricing modifications - individual and mass updates, customer group affiliations & GPO member management.

  • Process credits/returns/rebills in ERP system as assigned.

  • Perform basic data pull and analysis requests: use report engines and Excel skills to compile data for ad hoc requests from management, teammates, and external departments.

  • Assist in regular GPO Administrative sales reports and fee payment processing.

  • Serve as primary department member for all external registrations and reporting requirements.

Contract & Pricing Administration Specialist

Qualifications

As a Contract & Pricing Administration Specialist, you must be very detail-oriented and organized with excellent time-management and multitasking skills; you should also have strong analytic and problem-solving abilities.

It is important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to interact effectively with both external customers and internal staff.

Specific qualifications for the role include:

  • Associate’s degree (AA) from a two-year college or university, in a closely related field of study or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Minimum 2-4 years relevant work experience

  • Effective teamwork skills

  • Extremely customer service oriented

  • Intermediate/advanced skills in Excel

  • Intermediate level PC and advanced keyboarding skills along with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Word

  • Experience in contract administration: reviewing/interpreting, implementing contracts, preferred

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Access and SharePoint, preferred

  • Familiarity with ERP systems, preferred
